Apple Pie Shakeology

If you haven't tried Vanilla Shakeology you must, it is like looking into the eyes of God and hearing Him say "you are my most wondrous creation!" As versatile as a time traveling changeling with a  multitool and duct tape, this creamy delight has no end of orgasmic flavor opportunities. But the crème de la crème has to be, in this humble writer's opinion, the Apple Pie recipe. It is the most delicious.. no, scrumptious... no... there is no word in the English dictionary to describe it's greatness, so I am forced to make one up... and I'm going to do so right... now! Scrumtralescent! In fact, it is so scrumtralescent, I can b   ar e ly  type t  his  se  nte  nc e.

Without further ado, here is the most amazing recipe on earth:

1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (Original or Vanilla)
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Enough ice to give a polar bear  a chill

Directions: put all ingredients in a blender and blend until it's smoother than a baby's bottom. If you want to make others insanely jealous beyond all reason, you can add 3 thin apple slices and extra cinnamon as a garnish.

Try it for yourself and comment below. You can learn more about the scrumtralescent health benefits of Shakeology here. Verbiage inspiration provided by Will Ferrell's SNL skit "Inside the Actors Studio with James Lipton."

I think that the number one reason I don’t do the shakes and smoothies is the ice. I don’t like things that are really cold and I hate the noise the machines make in crushing the ice. Otherwise the recipe sounds really good.

    • Alternatively, you can use a shaker cup to avoid the ice and blender. Also, if you like coffee, you can use Vanilla Shakeology instead of creamer or use Chocolate Shakeology to make a mocha.
